♥하루 17

WAZZUP. I'm extremely glad that nicole liked my fail photoshop photos. haha! Hope you enjoyed your birthday, mate. Anyway,

true. It felt like PMR just passed yesterday. December, my favourite month of the year! guess why? hahaha teeheehee. well, momoke will be back in three days time, to be honest, I really miss my mom already. Eventhough I don't appreciate getting nagged on and all but I don't like sleeping alone. (yes, I still sleep with my mom. ahem.) any more instant noodle meals I'm gonna die. wah, never thought I'd say this. shin ramyun is really yummy but joyceet says it takes 32 days to digest one single pack. I bet my intestines hates me now. Started learning how to cook something more serious and I tried spaghetti. Its veggie delite in tomato paste! I'm so proud of myself.

Finally trimmed my fringe. Fresh new start for a new month! Happy december everybody Another sport distributor warehouse sale tomorrow. need skipping rope and new jogging shorts! hahaha!
O right, time to go.

goodnight.

♥하루 16: Happy B'day Nicolette!

This is for 14th of November.

I'm so guilty to say I really, really owe one very special person big time. I know I'm not the most sensitive or most caring person in the world, but I know I really suck. Not only that I had miscounted her birthdate (yes! its a she, a beautiful one too! wink. and ok, I'm sorry about the maths lol), I've also ffk-ed and broken my promises with her countless times (she said 8, but I'm pretty sure there's much more..), I mistook her favourite animal (panda) as a raccoon in her present, and.  well, the list would be longer than blogger will allow so, as a token of apologize for this fairest maiden in the land (I'm watching Bedtime Stories hahaha), I had her most favourite people to wish her happy birthday personally! guess who?

KEVIN JUUUMBA!
HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY MRS JUMBA!

Thanks for sitting with me whenever jonie's absent (ok, farah you too haha), accepting my shortcomings and temper, accompanying me for walks around the school, listening to my rantings and complaints, understanding and keeping my secrets, making me laugh with the most dumb jokes and smile when I have mood swings. You know I love you. Thanks for everything, panda!

Sorry I can't do better. photoshop hates me, sob.

p/s The long awaited year end sales is here! teeheehee.

cheers,
goodnight.

♥하루 15: Prime mani pedi!

(photocredits: Joyceet koh)

Manicure and pedicure. This is one treatment I never thought I'd ever spent a penny on. Because peeling nail polish off my nails is one of hobbies, lol. The only times I had nail polish on is using testers in the mall. I'm that thick skinned ok. hahaha! but I finally had a real mani pedi treatment, thanks to the wonderful bro and big less! also groupon. The bro bought four vouchers for my sisters and big less. I didn't know I'm supposed to get my nails painted cause' the bro told me he want to get his nail painted dizzy disco pink.. o.o I'm stupid enough to take it seriously hahaha and cut ALL my nails (including my feet's) the night before. yeah, one of my hobbies is also cutting my nails. That is cause I absolutely hate the clack clack sound made on the piano. also, it is kind of crispy when we cut it heh.

But when we reached the place (somewhere in an unknown subang mall) only I'm told I was supposed to get the treatment too! Lol, the girl kept saying "SO SMALL YOUR NAIL!" (I'm used to cut my nails maximum until the skin) I believe she had a hard time trying to colour my little toenails. so paiseh you know hahaha. but overall their service is okay. Friendly also, but I don't really recommend parking in the mall. Its like RM6.50 for four hours. can not blame tho, theres pretty much  no one in the mall. Very peaceful lah, I can say.

 LOL.

It is not a large scale centre, but has very comfy interior.

shin ramyun for dinner! yummm.

Durian feast now. nom nom nom.

goodnight!

♥하루 14: What to do when the electricity's cut off (grandmother story-formed)

YELLOW!I'm so sorry for not updating  stop reminding me ok! hahaha. Anyway, its one good week. I had the most terrifying afternoon yesterday some day in the past two weeks (I'm supposed to post this earlier, sigh.) so I've been literally 'cooking drama porridge' since the official SPM holiday started when I found this in euniceet's wardrobe. Its my honour to open her birthday gift before she did, laughs.

Believe me, I had never loved TVB dramas that much. I watched it and finished 25 episodes in a week. It got me going wherever proudly feeling like a forensic pathologist/smart ass and became super observant to psychology behaviours of everybody to the fibre and dust at the stairs. hahaha, anyway, it was raining dinosours and lions that afternoon. I am home alone, momoke went out for a treatment. chilled weather, perfect for mystery dramas, I thought.

Boy, was I wrong.

*writing suspense novel mode: ON* Thunderstorms never really scare me. I don't exactly appreciate it either, but I'm not that timid. The soft grumble from the sky was just fine. Soothening, even. Until when I'm totally in focus of a new case reported, and my brain is going through a rough storm trying in vain to crack the case. (I always like guessing who is liable, it makes me feel very smart, ahem.) *dramatic* and suddenly an extremely loud thunder was heard and I was plunged into pitch black darkness.

I'm stunned. actually, I didn't move for quite a long time, considering what to do next.  Anyway I can't stand the darkness any longer and rang the bell next door to see if she is facing the same problem. but it seemed like noone's at home so I stood in my garage in fear of getting barbequed in the rain. The storm rumbled on while I waited and sang. no, my singing is not particularly good (actually, it is not good at all but I don't mind singing, since theres no one around, cough. furthermore it kind of comforted my worries.)

To cut the story short,  I think all the thunder and lightning had deafen everyone so I got ignored in a very pathetic manner. besides, I'm a very impatient person so I defcided to put matters into my hands. I switched off all the sockets with a towel and went to check the electric box on top of my dad's aquarium with a plastic chair. The fish swam over to me thinking there's food (FISH NEVER STOP EATING. SERIOUS.) and stared at me with their bulging lidless eyes. Anyway, in case you never knew what an electric box is, it look like this.

ours is probably more complicated in ways. with two more rows of those switches. I prayed so hard and hoped I had paid more attention to the KH teacher whilst shes teaching the electric chapter ): I'm extremely scared of being pan fried even using the towel. so I randomly picked a switch. and guess what? the oxygen pump for the aquarium came to live instantly! bubbly bubbly. Ok, I think I forgot to switch off that one. hahaha! but who cares. I'm so happy! and thank God everything was ok, I didn't get myself cooked via electric in any ways.

Thanks for spending your time listening, or reading my story. hahaha I thought it was my first time being alone during an electric shortage so I'd write it down and read it when I'm old. heh.

WHAT TO DO DURING AN ELECTRIC SHORTAGE
(I swear I didn't google anything)

1) Get torches/ light up candles but becareful not to burn your house down. (play with shadows on walls! I never really seem to get my dog right)
2) Carefully switch off all the power. including the oblivious ones like the refrigerator, television or the oxygen pump in your aquarium ahem. hahaha.
3)If you're alone: call to inform your family. if you're not interested to get the power back on (I was desperate back then, I've a drama to chase or put it in a formal way, a case to crack ahaha.) go to sleep. its all chilly and nice on a rainy day. good time to snooze (Y)
4) If you don't have a phone (I didn't! the stupid thunder hit it. and the modem asdfghjkl) go over to a neighbour for company. or sing if you got ignored. personal experience ok.
5)By making sure you don't use your bare hands (wear gloves or use something. MAKE SURE IT IS AN ELECTRIC INSULATION and is not intact with water) open the electric box.
6)I'm really lucky with that wild guess. Normally the switch to let electricity run again is the second from your right at the lower row. it is one of those which is commonly bigger in size.
7) IF, you face an electricity failure, meaning it has something to do with the main electric box of your area (can be confirmed by the neighbours), stay at your neighbour's place for the moment. if not, sleep

I hope this works for you. After this, I experienced that even such trivial matter (rightt.) actually mattered alot. If I didn't know whats the cause of the black-out I'd have to wait for several hours more until someone comes home to rescue me. I thank God I didn't get any problems and got the switch right. Maybe we all should start learning the simple emergency methods from our parents. like knowing the right switch for the lights to come on again, or even knowing where is the electric box hahaha.

ok, so much said. Most of you probably wouldn even bother to read all of it (tags sukkie) but thanks for viewing anyway! It made my day and if you bothered to read everything, the reason I was missing in action for this past weeks is cause the modem and phone brokedown. Everything solved now! Thanks to TM. They're really nice and polite.

p/s Momoke's at china until the end of the week and pap's leaving for singapore today. I'm not sure how to function the washing machine... oops.

goodnight!
TGIF.

♥하루 11: 11-11-11

สวัสดี! all my condolences and prayers to thai.
Well yeah, it was one fateful public holiday monday when joyseet and me were supposed to head to one u for yet another day spent in the shopping mall. but mom demotivated us since we shopped the night before. yes, its abit disappointing for me as I'm looking forward to watch a movie. but on the other hand the public scent of shopping malls are wearing me out as I've been on a spam of shopping trips. so my sister and I went to old town for a yum cha session with her pretty high school classmate.

this picture so naise ok like advertisment image*self-complimentary*

then we took a walk at the lakeside. Pretty fine day, I say. all breezy with families on towels out for a picnic. Laughters of children and the nature odour floating in the air. Kites sailing in the blue sky with puffs of clouds scattered artistically, the art of God.  beautiful day summarized. and theres one fail yellow kite who looked drunk wahahaha.

Then, steamboat buffet dinner! YAY FOOD *euphoric*

Summer BBQ&Steamboat Restaurant @ Bandar sunway
The lime juice tastes like dish washing liquid but its ok overall. I love the balcony location!

From upstairs.

V(^____^)V

The scenary looked abit congested macam but..

super beautiful when the sun sets.

NOM NOM NOM.

Had to retake the group shoot several times cause' I think we're to enthusiastic to eat.

Great night, defies descriptions. Ended that day with a good game of saboteur at bro's. Laughed ttm and played till we have practically zero energy left! *_* Anyways,

Yes this does meant something to me, I've always been one of such things. Momoke is very merry by the date also, as she droned on over breakfast this morning that it only happens once in a century. But when I was pestering joyseet to tweet about it

she said: "please don't post that crap! what does the date and numbers meant. They say it comes around every 100 year. so its special?Hello! Yesterday just came and went, and you won't be getting yesterday again even if you lived for another million years. Today is here and it's gonna be over in hours time and you won't be getting it again. if you need something to celebrate, celebrate the fact that you're alive today, if anything is special is that!" (quoted Jason Fernandez)

well. I felt very inferior for a moment. thats why I added the later part of my tweet. I can't say how much I agree to this statement, as the spams of wishes and posts on the internet is irritating me. no offence for I'm also one of them *grins sheepishly* but well.

 Live everyday like
its a special day!

goodnight.
